SOPHOMORE BOYS BASKETBALL The 1984-85 Sophomore boys basketball team didn't have a standing season, but have great potential. Their record was 4- though the contests were closer than their record. The Sophom men were led by their big men Brad Cooney and David Webb an out- 5, al- re K- Ryan Gra was their most outstanding player for the season. One if the Jl highlights of their season was the win over Lakeridge. It was one only losses for the Pacers. The boys played well as a team, worked together, and had a lot as well as were a competitive force. They were very young, mostly made up of sophomores and three ju- niors. Mr. Thompson, the J. V. coach, said that this team was one of the best J. V. teams he had ever seen. Mr. Bethke is really excited about the prospects of next years -b. ball team. He said, Continued progress and the talent of players should make for a good and exciting season next year. The boys competed tough, but were outmanned many games. The boys continued to improve and won 3 of the last 4 games. lf some of the boys grow, they will improve and be a good group in the future.
