All students and their dates were invited to dance and await the crowning of the new Miss Rex. The Senior Class and their dates were honored in the early evening by a banquet given by the junior Class. Each senior was also pre- sented the gift of a brandy snifter. After the Miss Rex Court was presented. Mrs. Ann Perdue. Miss Rex of 1967. crowned Bess Watkins. Miss Rex of 1968. Dancing was resumed, led by Miss Rex and her escort.
