Revere Rules Suburban Height helped the Minutemen get jump-balls and rebounds. 1963-64 Varsity Team: Left to right: Tom Cramer fkneelingl Leslie johnson, managers, Don Murphy, Herb Pohlmeyer, jim Kistler, jon Wolf, Gary Major, Bob Kelley, jeff Springer, Chuck Tate, Dennis Pandy, and Brent Koudelda, manager. v As a result of the teamis exceptional determi- nation, skill, and pep, the Revere High Minute- men earned the Suburban League Trophy for the second consecutive season. Even with the usually challenging competition, the Minutemen managed a striking record of 18 wins and only 3 losses. These three losses totaled a mere four points. Al- though Revere was top seeded in our section, the team missed a seat in the District Tournament at Kent by loosing to Central 57-56. Jeff Springer, the outstanding Minuteman, set a new school record by scoring 54 points when Re- vere downed Highland 109-34. jeff was chosen to be on the first team of the All-Suburban League and also the first team of the All-District League. Gary Major, junior also was selected for the first team of the All-Suburban League and he received an honorable mention for the All-District League. Bob Kelley senior was on the second team of the All-Suburban League and third team of the All- District League. Coach Greynolds, as a result of his dedicated and successful efforts, was elected to second place for the Akron area Coach - of- the - Year.
