Speech, Speech, Speech As the Irish might say: They have the gift of gab, but Revere's members of the National Forensic League put it to a good purpose. They compete in debate and individual events to earn twenty-five points for membership and higher degrees. Individual events are divided into four sub-divisions: oratorical, humorous, and dramatic declamations and extemporaneous speeches. The many Saturdays started at early hours, which members gave to these activities, gave them a chance to show their oratorical ability. 5 2 H 2 3 k had wa' 2 V N.F.L.
