FW ani QLKS' - asszfzv Y-LL A After three weeks of intensive practice and numerous chalk talks, senior girls were pre- pared to meet the challenge of the female Win- throp Vikings. Five years have passed since powder puffers first made their debut: curious spectators crowded the stands to see the foot- ball action reappear at Harry Della Russo Stadi- um. The girls marched onto the field fully uni- formed. prepared, and determined. The game was designated as flag football, but 'rough play was not excluded from the action. Players were tackled. tumbled, and tripped in their gallant efforts to snatch those flying flags. The fans were surprised by the thrilling competitiveness of the two teams. The Patriots never gave up, they bit the dirt in their unending attempt to defeat Winthrop. Although Revere was defeated by a small margin, it was an enjoyable day for everyone. Q f + 1 EFL s Q i .
