Alt Glam Qappen Swamp Bag June 10 2005 Papers throughout Greater Boston are headl1n1ng Homecomlng Week In Revere Many celebrltles professors and world travelers are arriving by several dlfferent modes of transportatlon They are comxng to see the new high school ThlS lS the second half century graduatmg class and the first from the new hlgh school We your guldes are connected with N B C TCIEVISIOH and will show you around this recently completed masslve structure This huge bu1ld1ng was deslgned by englneers and architects former graduates of Revere Hlgh The englneers are Frank Belmonte Doo Doo DeF1l1ppo Dlckle Farrell Johnny FlgSy and Henry Goodwm The noted archltects are Tommy Malone Dennls Moreno CO0kl8 Sasso Louls Spagnola and Jerry Termlnlello The bulldmg IS constructed entirely of Whlte marble lmported from the Italian Rlverla and donated by Normle Rosenblatt The ultra modern bay wmdows which overlook the beautlful scenery of Revere were glazed by Henry Francescom and hls asslstants George Caporale Jlmmy Ardollno Wally Gorman and Joe Segale The grand co ed smoklng room decorated In a Perslan mOtlf was copled from those owned by famous harem collectors The most famous of these IS John Capoblanco Wlth his seven wives Annabel Moody Lyd1a Cafarelll LOUISE Cardlllo Anna and Rose Clancarelll Patty D1 Tllll0 and last but not least Teddi Palermo The new recreation room was lavlshly decorated by Ann Davldson It consists of bllllard tables donated by Ralph Epstem Alan Greenburg Ubby Goldberg and good old Steve Gllxman and also plnball machlnes glven by Label Koor Itsy Marcus and Bllly Rick They all have returned from Judging the Mlss America contest Was it fun boys? The numerous fac1l1t1es donated for the amusement of the classes were glven by those three noted hunters and thelr wives Mr and Mrs Carl Akerburg Mr and Mrs Robert Katz and Mr and head for our game room Mrs Katz the former Barbara Katz who always said she would never change her name donated a palr of elephants tusks Mrs Leo Zarba the famous adventuress Claire Kessler bagged her first pygmy Leo helped her by holding the rope MOVlDg on down the vast corrldors we are awe struck by the grandeur of the lmmense audltorlum Interlor decoratlons are by Jacque Bell and her able asslstants Carole King Myrna Saltman Joanne Slgnore and Myrna ZBDIS They call themselves the T B A s better known as The Beautiful Assxstants The large gym IS bemg ably handled by those wobbly musclemen Leo Smyrllan Jlmmy Santo and Dlckle DEramo who have an audience of female admirers by the names of Helen Schwartz Toni Goodman and Joan Hawes The cafeteria deslgned by Robert Mills has as 1tS head chef Antwerp Capoblanco Hls famous helpers are Robert Memory Dav1d Moreno Eddxe Lerman lwho has created a Glen Mlller Saladj and Bob Jackson The food is excellent and such eX0tlC dlSh9S as fillet mlgnon knlshes and ravxolies are the headliners Walking down the pastel shaded corrldors we hear a group of harmonlous VOICCS beautifully blending together Who could ever fill William O Gosss shoes?
