leclicafion Motivated by the ceremony of the Enthronement, at which we proclaimed the Sacred Heart of Iesus King of every classroom in our school and of everyone therein, we, the Seniors of Resurrection High School, classes of 1943 and 1944, dedicate this Yearbook to Christ the King. It is our fondest hope that in the future whenever we look back at our schooldays through the medium of these pages, the memory of our consecration may inspire us to remain loyal subjects of our Divine King and to be living exemplars of the ideals instilled in us by our Alma Mater.

OPQLUOI' A yearbook more than any other single factor tends to main- tain a link between a graduate and her school as well as between classmates. Nevertheless, for various reasons connected with the war effort, some schools have decided to cancel the publication of yearbooks for the duration. We have conceived a better idea. By combining volumes IX and X of The Resurrectian into the space of a single book we have been able to conserve materials and manpower and still have the story of our life at school pre- served in word and picture to cherish in the future.
