A FITTING MILITARY CLIMAX The climax of the year was the final parade and com- missioning ceremony. Because of the extremely large number of l952 commission candidates, the two ex- ercises were held separately rather than together as had been the practice in past years. Both ceremonies were extremely impressive and colorful. A well-drilled Honor Company, a beautiful color Girl, a stirring parade and a proud group of Navy officers made the 1952 final parade the best in ROC history., ' The largest ROC graduation class in history proud- ly left Terminal Island on I6 August to ioin the fleet in the best of naval tradition.
