G.A.A. SONGLEADERS Infusing spirit throughout the Girls' Athletic Associae tion are the vivacious and enthusiastic songleaders. These girls are elected by the members on a semes- ter basis. They lead cheers at Playdays and every general meeting of G.A.A. Mothers and daughters were kept in high spirits at the Mother and Daugh- ter Playday, cmd representatives of Reseda are al- ways cheered on to victory at off-campus playdays with other schools in the Los Angeles District The girls' animated cheering is always heard at the semi-annual assembly to welcome new G.A.A. members. The four girls holding the positions of songleaders this winter were Lee Gnaster, Kathy Finigan, Pat Mallard, and leannie Basso. U I :4,14-f 6 LL9 WINTER G.A.A. CABINET Superior correlation of an organization as large and as vigorous as G.A.A. is a highly commendable re- sponsibility. This year, the twenty girls elected for the spring and fall semesters have done an out- standing job. They have enticed girls to participate with enthusiasm and have provided a great variety of activities for enjoyment of all the members. Both i'Welcome Parties were delightful, and the Playdays had large turnouts. Executive power was divided between Elaine Schaeffer and lulie Rogers, and the girls on their respective cabinets worked diligently to make each G.A.A. girl feel she was an integral part of the association. Both cabinets feel indebted to their sponsors, Miss La Maida and Miss Quintana, for all the time and helpfulness they gave to make G.A.A. one of the most popular organizations on campus.
