BOYS' LEAGUE With the major responsibility of representing every boy on campus and Coordinating activities that will be both stimulating and interesting to the participants, the boys on Boys' League Cabinet have done a most commend- able job. This year student confidence was placed in Peter Vlfelss for the fall semester, and Ted Eggleston for the spring, to act as Boys' League presldents. Under the direction of Mr. Franklin and Mrs. McClain, boys have had the op- portunity to take part in many activities instigated by this cabinet. Gne of the most memorable evenings spent by Reseda boys was at this semesters Father and Son Night, where boys enticed their fathers to participate in the many contests and dual competition. Also a functioning part of Boys' League is the Bowling League, held at Reseda Bowl every Tuesday before school. For the interest of all Regents, a Boys' Advisory Board has been initiated to select one deserving boy from each grade level to serve as Boy of the Month. TOP RIGHT-BOYS' LEAGUE: Row 1: K. Grant, T. At the close of every semester, homeroom teachers hear expres- sions of joy from astute pupils who have received ten points on their twenty week report cards. These points are obtained by three points for an A and one point for a B in all academic subjects. For this year, Barbara Caleen has ably presided over the meetings with the help of Mr. McClure, Mr. Waldo, and Mr. Leary, the sponsors. The Alcuins have assisted thei rfellow Regents by initiating a tutoring service available every Monday morning. U.C.L.A. was the site of their most enlightening field trip this semester. lt was 'XA Day ln College, and it gave the members an opportunity to spend the en- tire day on a college campus and sit in on classes. Alcuins foster high scholastic standards and give Regents an opportunity to broaden their interests. 66 ur knowledge is the thought WINTER ALCUINS: Row 1 Fisher, Quilligan, Ruhlig, Lev- SN itt, Markov, McRae, Segal 'Bl' 1 Jeri Walker, Randolph, Bostwick.
