For two years, the select Squires have been serving at sports nigh's and helping with noon activities. At football games and the Chariot-O-Rama, the 33 members served as ushers. Combined activities between Les Demoi- selles, the junior girls honor organization, and Squires included an evening of roller skating and a party following was the focal pant of the semester. john l-leyl and Ron Schafer, the executive officers in Squires, along with Mr. Moreno and Mr. Dunn, their sponsors, conduct the ambitious members in their service pro- jects. These boys must have a high scholastic record, good citizenship, and be able to exert their leadership ability. They are chosen trom the senior class and this is the highest honor to be bestowed upon a tweltth grade boy. This organization is always ready to be ot service to the teachers and student body ot Reseda. They extend a helping hand during the turmoil we know as pre-registra- tion: they sponsored the Christmas formal in conjunction with Ladies, and they usher at all assemblies. Mr. Cole and Mr. Cfansz have been the sponsors ot Knights, and tor the tall semester Kenny Cfant was presi- dent and David Cole took over in the spring. Th1s group depicts the high standard ot citi- zenship and scholarship that has made Reseda a first rate school. The girls eligible lor membership are constantly extendlng their cooperation and ser- vice to the school in every possible Way. Miss Price and Mrs. Lane have been the sponsors this yoar, and executive authority was vested in Sharon Phlllpps, tall semester and SusQe Sale, spring semester. The Ladies usher at all assemblies and the special events that take place on our campus. They sponsor a service project with the help from every Regent each semester. Also an annual actlvity is the noon dance sponsored by Ladies, Where the admission price is a can ol food which goes to needy tamQlies. Becoming a member ot Ladies is the highest honor to be bestowed upon a l2th grade girl, and is one of the most highly esteemed ol all campus organiza- tions.
