A special interest in music and talent in playing an instrument are the preree quisites tor membership in the March- ing Band. This band had been invited to march in various parades. At Rese- da, Regents always enjoy their per- formance at football games and pep rallies. During the spring this group entertains Regents at assemblies and the Spring Concert. The ultimate goal ot all mem- bers is acquisition ot their insignia and band pins as well as possible service points.

PEP CLUB The group responsible for the enthusiastic shouting that helped send out football team to the top of the Valley League is Reseda's Pep Club. Each Thursday after school, the l25 members dlligently yelled in rehearsal for Friday inght's game. Be- sides their vociferous expressions, the Pep Club decorated the field with Regent colors before the game, and sponsors the Pep Rally each semester. Socially, the or- ganization has its annual snow trip dur- ing the spring. President Dave Dempsey and sponsor Mr. Osborne agree the Pep Club maintains a high standard of school spirit and insures a terrific turnout at all sports events.
