CLASS HISTORY Mrs. Dolezal was our seventh grade teacher. We were sorry to lose Randy Ritterling, but Calvin Sey- bold made up the loss. Our eighth grade year was ex- citing as we got ready to graduate from grade school. We lost Jack McGrew before school started, Edith Kus- sman in the middle of the year, and La Rae Eitzmann after graduation. Mr. Brauch was largely responsible for preparing us for the high school years that lay just ahead. We started high school in 1969 as green freshmen with Rick Albertson, Tom Clark, Randy Evert, Marilyn Marilyn Farlee, Warren Fuller, Duage Gritten, John Gunn, Scott Hobson, Roger Kintigh, Harrell Roe, Calvin Seybold, Colleen Steier, Linda Thayer, Paul Thornton, Vicki Todd, Lynn Van Nortwick, and Dale Zoltenko. We gained Sandra Bostwick in October. The sophomore class was decreased by three: Duane Gritten, Warren Fuller, and Dale Zoltenko. Our junior and senior enrollment stayed the same. Mr. Barrett was our senior class sponsor. We, the graduating Seniors of 1973 are: Rick Al- bertson, Sandra Bos t wick, Tom Clark, Randy Evert, Marilyn Farlee, John Gunn, Scott Hobson, Roger Kin- tigh, Harrell Roe, Calvin Seybold, Colleen Steier, Linda Thayer, Paul Thornton, Vicki Todd and Lynn Van Nortwick. Of these fifteen seniors, eight of us started together in the first grade. We are: Rick Al- bertson, Tom Clark, Randy Evert, Marilyn Farlee, Colleen Steier, Linda Thayer, Paul Thornton, and Lynn Van Nortwick. Twelve years ago in the fall of 1961, Ricky Al- bertson, Tom Clark, Steven Dulls, La Rae Eitzmann, Randy Evert, Marilyn Farlee, Mary Jo Levendofsky, Randy Ritterling, Colleen Steier, Linda Thayer, Paul Thornton, Lynn Van Nortwick, and Larry Wells started the first grade under the guidance of Mrs. Rahe. In the second grade, we gained Dale Zoltenko, but we lost Steven Dulls and Larry Wells. The third and fourth grades proved to be a big change for the class. In the third grade we gained Wilma Barry, John Gunn, Scott Hobson, Roger Kin- tigh, Gordon Rassmussen, Harrell Roe, and Mary Rogers. We lost Mary Jo Levendofsky. In the fourth grade, we gained Duane Gritten and Vicki Todd. We lost Wilma Barry, Gordon Rassmussen and Mary Rogers. Mrs. Tallent was our teacher and she did her best to continue our education. We entered the fifth grade unchanged with Mrs. Novak as our teacher. In the sixth grade, we gained Warren Fuller, Edith Kussman, and Jack McGrew, making a total of twenty students. CLASS WILL We the Seniors of Republic High School being of sound mind and body do will the following: I, PAUL THORNTON will the Republic High School Athletic Department a coach that has not yet been invented. I, RANDY EVERT will my tapes and tape caddy to the person that has them, and to Larry Jensby my ability to grow long hair. I, JOHN GUNN will my ability to drive on the right side of the road to Chuck Ocobock. I, TOM CLARK will to anybody smart enough to take them my many trips to Superior. I, CALVIN SEYBOLD will to Gerry Scrivner my agility to fight with guys my own size. I, LYNN Van NORTWICK will my co-ordination to Terry Bohling, and my height to Gerry Scrivner. I, ROGER KINTIGH will my ability to raid lockers to the up-coming freshmen, and my ability to play basket- ball to Kent Smith. I, SCOTT HOBSON will my slender body to Verlyn Farlee. I, SANDRA BOSTWICK will my empty scat on the bus to Crystal Hoblemann. I, MARILYN FARLEE will my ability to get along with Mr. Kollmai to Nancy Hurley, and my ability to keep out of trouble to Marcia Heitmann. I, RICKY ALBERTSON will my ability to go with young girls to Brad Bouray. and my great sewing ability to Trace Hallack. I, VICKI TODD will my happy-go-lucky ways to Brenda Fischer. I, LINDA THAYER will my ability to fall asleep in Psychology class to Mr. Kollmai, and my friend from Burr Oak to Nancy Hurley if she promises to take good care of him. I, HARRELL ROE will my red hair to anybody who wants it. I, COLLEEN STEIER will my midriffs to Melanie Brown. To the up-coming sophomores wre will our extreme scholastic ability. To the up-coming juniors w-e will our sense of humor. To the up-coming seniors wre will our ability to act as individuals. To the R.H. S. faculty we leave you knowing that you did all you could to further our education so we could become capable and hard working somethings. To the up-coming faculty we will one case of aspirin for the approaching headaches.
