Mrs. Mitchell showed them to their classroom. They were as follows: Alan Daugherty, Bobby Meggitt, Jim Miller, Kent Swartz and Marion Weir. Mrs. Sybil Rahe was our second grade teacher. Her five new students were the following: Leann Bowers, Harold Fischer, Lyle Johnson, Everett Myers, and Loretta Saffarons. In the fall of 1957, there were two girls and seven boys beginning the third grade under Mrs. Tallent. We lost Lyle Johnson during the summer. Our fourth grade year, we lost one student, Everett Myers and gained two new girls, Sally and Sandra Fuller. Mrs. Novak, our fifth grade teacher, had six young and eager students with the loss of Sandra Fuller, Bobby Meggitt, Leann Bowers, and Marion Weir. The same students entered the sixth grade with a gain of Keith Garman. Our seventh grade year, we gained Greg Johnson and George Trimmer. We lost two students, Loretta Saffarons and Keith Garman. Our eighth grade year, we gained three new students, Steve Gunn, Darrell Hanson, and Eddie VanMeter.. The eighth grade class of nine boys and one girl graduated from grade school with Mr. Johnson as our teacher. In the fall of 1964, eleven shy freshmen began their high school life. We gained two new students, Carolyn Davidson and Stanley Fager. Our sopho- more year, we lost Stanley Fager and our junior year, we lost Greg Johnson. Our senior year, we gained Dave Kussman. Of the ten members of our gradu- ating class, three started together twelve years ago: Jim Miller, Kent Swartz, and Alan Daugherty. Well, now that our high school days are over, all we can say is--it has been a wonderful and rewarding four years. The Senior Class of 1967 will always remember good old R. H. S.
