CLASS PROPHECY While the Seniors of 1965 were on their sneak they visited China Town. In China Town, there was a shop where an old Chinese man declared that he could tell a person's fortune. All of the Seniors were greatly interested so they had their fortunes told. The old nan prophesied that in ten years the lives of the Seniors would be as follows: 3rad Blair, the great dare-devil has just broken the stunt driving record. He is the first man to drive a '55 Plymouth up a ramp one mile high and jump safely over Niagara Falls. 10 Bryan Simms went on a big game Safari ir. Africa. He was the first man to outrun the cannibals of Fooberrabbas. He is a world renouned poacher. Stan Davis, nicknamed Smokey, now lives up in the Rocky Mountains wuere he is a famous forester. He specializes in the prevention of for- est fires. Children all over know him because there are posters of him saying, Forester Stan says, 'Only you can prevent forest fires.' Dennis Fuller just won the Olympic medal for the U.S. in tumbling. He performed a feat never before accomplished last week by turning twelve backward summersaults while turning a backward flip. Ron Reinke is the President of an oil firm located in Republic. In his spare time he races cars and has set a new record of six seconds for the quarter mile. Sue Erkenbrack is much better known as Dr. Susie. She is a trained veterarian and specializes in horses. This works just fine for her, since she has her own horse farm where she raises race horses. Elaine Gunn is a medical technologist at one of the biggest hospitals in Texas. When she is not working she spends her time with her husband and ten boys on their ten thousand acre ranch. Maxine Meggitt, married to Stan now, is busy taking care of her fam- ily of five boys. Once a week, she makes a flying trip to London to fix the Queen's hair. Stan Van Meter and his wife, Maxine, own a five thousand acre pig farm north of Lovewell. In his spare time, Stan is building a reservoir to irrigate the Republican River Valley. Greg Birrell is now known as the top mechanic of the United States. He has just completed work on his own car. When not working on cars, he is busy helping his wife with their three children. Bette Zoltenko is now the star of her own night club. The Cave. She dances with the Cockroaches, a sensational new vocal group. After work, Bette rushes home to their fifty room fall-out shelter where she and her husband experiment with radio activity. Marlene Snyder is now living in a 200 by 72 foot trailer house in Washington. While her husband works, she takes care of their three sets of twins, all with red hair. During her spare time, she teaches a course in psychology at the nearest college. Donnie Rakestraw has been playing professional football since he graduated. Just recently, he quit playing and became the coach of the ever famous Republic Wildcats. Steve Dunback is Known all over the world for his coin collections. He has had recent showings of his collections all over Europe. He just received an award for donating some of his coins to a worthy charity. John Charles, better known as Coach J.C., has just led his team to their one hundredth straight victory at K-State. When he is not coach- ing J.C. spends his time hunting and fishing on his ranch near Republic. Alan McClure is the newest and brightest television comedy writer of this era. He writes shows for all the new stars. Big Al, as he is call- ed, also has his own comic strip in all of the top newspapers. Lynn Boylan, the first girl to graduate from Harvard, is teaching mathematics to the boys at Annapolis. After each lecture, she rushes home so she can fix supper for her husband, a processor at Westpoint. William Daugherty is teaching French at K.L.l’.C. at Emporia. Last year he spent a full year in France. He also visited several other coun- tries where he studied the languages also. 11 Joyce Shadduck now lives on a farm with her husband and eight child- ren. She is pretty busy taking care of them but she still has lots of time for her hobby, western music. She has just had a party which in- cluded all the top country and western singers. Billie Hanson, better known as Dr. Billie S. Hanson, has just dis- covered the cure for cancer.
