Millen Class History In the fall of 1952, five enthusiastic girls and five eager boys pe: rtrrtec the halls of Republic Grade School. They were Nancy Soman, Carne Sue Parley, Arlene Daurherty, Charlene Daugherty, Diane Tuman, Arlo Millen, George Elliott, Paul Kathrineberg, Jackie Birdsell, and Stanley VanMeter. Our first real education was. given to us by Mrs, Mitchell, our first grade teacher, Stanley VanMeter nr.d P ul Kathrineberg left us in the second semester of our first grade year. In the second and third grade years our class remained uncharged. In the fourth grade we lost Diane Tuman and Paul Kathrineberg rejoined us, P ul Kathrineberg left us in the fifth grade but we gained Marvin Cahow, In the sixth grade we lost Arlene and Charlene Duagherty and Marvin Cahow, but gained Rachelle Butler, Irene Myers, and Junior Woodside, Junior left us at the e d of the year, Paul Kathrineberg, Willard Eitzman, Louise Fuller, and Lois Fuller joined us in the seventh grade. In our conclusive year of grade school we gained Larry and Gary Heyka, We graduated under Miss Anthony, The fall of I960 marked the beginning of a high school career for twelve, scared, but excited freshman. V e were the eighth grade graduates with two new members, Carol Dunback and Beatrice Softley, We were initiated by the Seniors of 1961. We began our Sophomore year feeling like we were one step higher n our high school years, Irene Myers was no Ion er with us and we lost Beatrice Softley at the end of the year. In our third year of high school we started off with a '‘bang” and kept the same pace throughout the year. We gained Duane File and Joan Osborne to make six boys and six girls. Of the twelve members of our graduating class, four started together twelve years ago. They were: Carne Sue Bagley, Nancy Boman, Arlo Millen and Paul Kathrineberg, The Class of old1, twelve dignified students, had a happy, prosperous school year!
