The Senior Class of 1958 is gathering in the halls of R.H.S. to welcome back all the old members. First to arrive is Miss Shelly Lee, the former Vivian Plckel. Shelly Lee is her theatrical name as she is now a featured Sax- ophone player in the Tiny Tim's Rock and Rollers Jazz Band. Next to appear on the scene is Mr. Robert Neill Linden who made his first million deep- sea diving for the Sun-Kisted Tuna Company. He is planning to spend the week here in Republic fishing on the banks of the Republican River as he did in the years of his youth. Roberta Shadduck just flew in from Chicago where she is now living with her husbsnd, Gorgous George. Roberta, a former airline stewardess, met George when he was on his way to Italy to fight Wild Red Berry. Darlene Evert has just come back from Africa where she has been doing nursing and missionary work. We regret to say that her husband. Chuck Livingston, has recently been eaten by canibals. Sharon McNitt Just arrived from Las Vegas where she has just obtained her third divorce. She was a candidate for Mrs. America, but was disqualified because of her recent divorce. We regret that John Hurley will not be with us at this time, because of a lack of funds. You know that ten children can be very expensive. He and his wife and children are now living in Louisville, Ky., where John is training race horses. Class Motto This Page Courtesy of Byron Liquor Store Byron Nebr. Darlene Evert with ambition great Has the fault of staying out late Next Pall she will be seen Entering college a Freshman greenJ Sharon McNitt with eyes of Blue And she's got a boyfriend too She is planning to be married soon. The wedding will probably be next June. Roberta Shadduck is a likeable girl And is always in a whirl. When graduation rolls around Where will Roberta be found? Vivian Pickel in her little green Ford Down many a street she has roar'd. If she drives it her very best It will go to the junkyard to rest. Bob Linden, our Senior King Has his mind on many a thing. He's full of fun and fancy free Because, that's the way he wants to be. John Hurley, with English in mind For a credit he hopes to find. If he shouldn't get it, he doesn't fear He will just come back next year. This Page Courtesy of Kueker Grain, Seaman's Store, Bachelor-Faulkner-Dart Furniture, Fashion Cleaners, Arbuthnots, J.C. Senior Class W ill We the Seniors of 1958 being of sound mind (?) do ordain this to be our last will and testament. Having acquired certain properties and character- istics which we no longer have use for, do hereby and herewith pledge and dispose of them in this manner. Vivian wills her driving ability to Darlene Hurley. Roberta wills her Shorthand ability to Charlene Rahe. Darlene wills her ways of getting other people in trouble to Mack Hawley. John wills his ways with Mrs. Nicholls to Steven Mizar. Sharon wills her talking in study hall to Judy Linden. Bob wills his eraser throwing ability to Roger Simms. This being our last will and testament we do, as a class wish to leave our teachers, for which we've had little use, the school, which we used well but not wisely, and the years accumulation of knowledge collected: All of which will probably be useless to us in the years to come.
