We planned, in October, to give the Freshmen their initiation party, but it turned out to be only a party at Pawnee where we had a wiener roast. This year we are planning our Junior Play and also the Junior Prom and other activities that are duties of a Junior Class. Miss Carlson quit, and Miss Ruth Sai-e took over. At the beginning of the second year, we had lost one member of the class, Warren Hallgren. As the years went by we lost five members, and gained one. Which brings us to the present five. During our fourth and fifth years, we attended school at the American Legion Hall, while the new school house was being built. We began school in the new schoolhouse while in the sixth grade. When, we were in the seventh grade, two buses were chartered and the whold grade school made a one day trip to Hastings, where we went through the museum and several other interesting places. Miss Anthony, our seventh and eight grade teacher, took us to Belleville and Concordia for sin eight grade trip. This fall four of the original ten and one newcomer. Bob Linden, became green Freshman. This pare courtesy of Swedish American State Bank, Courtland and L. E.
