This year we elected Eugene Kessler as president and Lester Eckert as Vice President, Virginia Couch as secretary and Marjorie Hepperly as treasurer. Our subjects included are science, arithmetic, enplish, spelling, music, history, industrial arts, and physical education, Robert Grunden and ldal Bland left our lclass during the year. he were represented in athletics during the school year Last fall several games of Hindoorn baseball were played. During the Winter we played baseball. In the tournament the grade team defeated Attice, Bloomville, Kansas in the semifinals, and lost to New Reigel in the finals held at Old Fort Schoolf The boys who were on the grade team were Alan Ldeorge, Eugene Kessler, Lester Eckert, Grover Neikirk.Jr., Eugene Echelberry, Vernon Schubert, Archie Shawberry, George Fruth Elwin Bonham, and Frederic Kramer. 'ffl' ' 55- gd I' .0 v A I f . wr li ff, P121 za wry, ff The present 7th grade class started to school in the fall of l955 with Hrs. Leibengood, Miss Iesnard as teachers. There were 25 pupils in this class. Our third grade teachers were hiss HenninQer and Miss porter. Miss Corthell was our teacher in the fifth grade. Lynn Leedy withdrew from the class. The sixth grade teacher was Nr. R. E. Cole. That year Lucretia Baker received a medal in the county contest for being the most excellent speller. - This year our adviser is Miss Glagett, Our teacher in geopraphy is Miss Holland, arithmetic and history, Mr. Cg P. Cole, english, spelling, and literature, Miss Gautschi. Our class now stands with 27 pupils. 'Of the 25 pupils that started in l955 there are l5 of the original first with class. They are as follows: Donald Alleman,Lucretia Baker, Richard Bishop, Regina Bone, Rowena Bowe, Ruth Breighner, Kathryn Cooley, Hardelle Fretz, Marjorie Fretz,Geneva Holmer Alice Kramer, Dorothy Powell, and Joyce Trott. f I The class officers are: President,Donald Alleman, Vice- President,Joan Uason,Treasurer,Ruth Brci5hner,Asst,Treasurer Hardelle Fretz, Secretary, Kathryn Gooley,Reporter, Marjorie Fretz.
