Q. Lehr Swihart--Hr. Swihart has given untirin51y of his time and talents that the students of Republic High may be better trained. He received his Bachelor of Science in Education and Master of nrts at Ohio state University. He has taught 27 years including 4 years at Republic. Hr. Lwihart served overseas with the 57th Division, Horld Tar I. Fannie Holland-Iiss Holland has taucht in Lykens and Republic LJ schools since she received her A. B. hegree from Heidelberg Colle5e in lU22. the has tauyht mathematics and business classes during her teaching career. In order to widen her kHOWl3dSG she has traveled much over Janada and United States Thelma Clayett---Miss Clagett has given generously her time coachinc and advisinn students of Republic High School. Miss Clagettugraduated frog Heidelberg College with an n.B. Degree in 1925. She attended summer school at O. S. U. duriny l929, l95O. and l95l. During the summers of 1954 and l955, she attended Wittenberg College. Since graduation she has taught consecutively at Republic. L. C. Jones--hr. Jones graduated from Hclweeney Arts School, than graduated from Ohio State University where he received his Bachelor of Science Degree. He has taught vocational agriculture for twelve years, 5 years at Republic, conducting eight educational tours totaling ll,OOO miles. E. D. Egg--Hr. Fee graduated from Muskingum College in 1941, receiving his Bachelor of Science Degree. Republic is his first teaching position where he is also acting as athletic, debate, and play coach. Hr. Fee has relinquished his teaching position to answer an urgent draft call. Leona Enders--Mrs Enders attended Tiffin University in lO27- l928. After completion of her course she was employed at the Tiffin Jewelry for one year,and for four years at the County CommissionerYs Office. Mrs Enders is now completing her fourth year as typing instructor. Betty Bonnell--Miss Donnell graduated from Heidelberg College in l94l with a Bachelor of Science De5ree.Shc is now teaching in her first position at Scipio-Republic School. Bernice Gautschi--After graduating from Columbian High School in l957,Hiss Gautschi received her Bachelor of Arts Degree at Heidelberg College in l94l,She came to Hepuslic following Hr. Fee. Miss Gautschi is now Working on a uusiness Degree at Tiffin.University.

Ralph Cole--Mr. halph dole was a graduate from the two year Elementary Jourse at Bowling Green University and then he took additional study in summer courses at the sane school. after teaching three years in Loudon township, one in Adams, Jr. Cole accepted a position six years ago at hepublic where he is now Elementary Principal. Esther Erwin--Miss Erwin received her Bachelor of Science degree in Home Economics at Ohio State University. Miss Irwin has taught 'school for sixteen years. She taught nine years at Old Fort high School before coming to Republic. Qarroll Cole--lr. Cole graduated with a Fachelor of Science in Education, from Bowling Green University. Afterwards he took one year under graduate work at Heidelberg aollege, and one summer post graduate work at Ohio :U te University, Mr. Cole has taught school for eleven yearsg Two roars in Loudon township before coming to Republic. Miriam Smith---Irs. Smith spent one year at Bowling Green University, graduating in 1959 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education, major in musicg minor in Tnglish. Qita Miller--After graduating from ntti a Hijh school in l955, Iiss Miller attended De Sales delle e ni Toledo, Ohio, taking the two year Elementary Course, and Ixtex completing three summers of training. Iiss Hiller taught two years at Reed Town, one year at best Lodi before coming to hepublic two years ago. Myrtle Spitler--Miss Myrtle Spitler cane fron near LcOomb, Ohio. bhe attended high school there and graduated with honors in the upper third of the class. She has attended Bowling Green University for three years and two summers. Thus far, she has received her temporary certificate, but she is working to attain Educational and B. S. degrees. She is new teaching the second grade. Helen Mesnard-Miss Iesnard graduated from Bowling Green Uni- versity in l93l.She also attended Ohio State University dur- ing the summers of l967 and l958, After teaching one year in Eden township, she was employed at Republic where she has taught since then. Mary Bissell--Miss Bissell attended Kent State College for three-yearsf In l929 she received the Two Year Elementary Credit at Kent State, Before coming to Republic, she taught 7 laborious years in Medina County at Weymouth and Montville School. For the last two years she has taught the 4th grades at Republic.
