Jonrnali Ill Club The Journalism Club was started in 19h9 with the English literature class as its staff. This class sent articles into the Renwick 23225 and soon had a section called the gl Life. The following fall, since interest in journalistic writing was running rather high, a journalism club was organized. This club included all high school students who wished to participate. This first club had Ed Harris as editor for the gl Llgg. In 1950 the Journalism members decided they should have a paper particu- larly for the student body so they could tell their jokes and gossip. This paper took the name ggggg. The first editor of the gaggg was Charles Espe. This year the club chose Janice Helmke as the editor of the gl Life with Nancy Latch as assistant editor. Karen McGowan was elected editor for the Radar with Roberta Kleveland as assistant editor. There are now thirty-one members in this club.
