Graduation 14 Class Motto Not what we get, but what we give, measures the worth of our lives. Class Colors Red, White and Black Class Flower White Rose Class Songs “We May Never Pass This Way Again Theme from Mahogany, Do You Know Where You Are Going To On Friday evening. May 23, at 7:30 p.m. in the school gymnasium the Class of 1980 assembled for the last time as Commencement Exer- cises began. They were filled with mixed emotions as they helped each other put on caps, gowns, and tassels in the old gym before the ceremony. As part of the program there were speeches by the Senior Repre- sentatives, Tammy Burns and Bob Ville, reflecting on both the past and future. Awards were presented to students, and the ceremony ended after diplomas were conferred. For the graduates it was a time of pride and accomplishment after years of expectation. A new part of their lives would begin as their high school days would become memo- ries.
