Annual Student Council The annual staff has ambitiously taken on the project of a complete change in style of format in the annual this year. The inclusion of more juniors and sophomores promises more experience for the annual in years to come. With these two elements the year book will sustain its highest quality this year and in the future. This am- bitious staff is lead by Patty Schemel and Cathie Wahl; co-editors in chief, Debbie Bach and Pam Standfuss, junior editors; and John Strootman, business manager. German Club, Ren-Hi Record, Roots, Library The 50 library cadets under the direction of Mrs. Giese were very important in the up keep of the library. The cadets also did the usual things like signing passes and checking out books. Roots, is the literary magazine consisting of poems and stories written by several talented students in school. The German Club held a Christ- mas party in school and also sang Christmas Carols in German to various people in town. They also held a scavenger hunt. As a group, in February, six members of the German Club went to a German Camp in Bemidji. The Ren-Hi Record served to inform the school of school news and happenings.
