Our two fifth grade teachers, Mrs. Lola Gra- ham and Mis. Wendell Bailey, pause during a quiet moment to pose for their pictures. Miss Praxedes Raquiza and Richard Robinson, phy. ed. teachers, are looking over some of the Indian Athletic equipment. Talking over some of the humorous incidents that have occurred during the morning are Mrs. Lyla Williams and Mrs. Dean Raske, fourth grade teachers. Mrs. Gertrude McKusick, English teacher, and Mrs. Lucille Doone, home ec. teacher, are shown during a free period going over the as- signment for the next hour class. Roger Weber and Miss Allyce Tiggelaar, sixth grade teachers, are comparing notes at the end of a long day. 6

Miss Vemice Schimming, special teacher, and Miss Judith Peters, kindergarten teacher, are looking over the arithmetic workbooks for the year. Admiring the art work are Miss Ruth Bockhaus and Miss Phoebe Beers, second grade teachers. Mrs. Rosena Thompson and Mrs. Jean Prior, third grade teachers, are preparing a Halloween bulletin board. Talking over the days happenings are the first grade teachers, Miss Shirley Schmidt and Mrs. Mary Foster. 5

Miss Josephine Gilleland, elementary music and chorus, and James Merkel, band in- structor, are shown before class taking a busman's holiday at the piano. Miss Louise Heine, Chemistry and science, and James Lysne, high school math, are having a good laugh over some uni- dentified object on the ceil- ing. Wonder what it is? Phillip Beers, math and junior high sci- ence, and Bill Snyder, junior high social studies, seem to be finding some very good information in the bulletin. I With the help of these three teachers your future will look bright. They are Miss Barbara Johnson, librarian; Mrs. Hope Cavett, history, social studies and English; and Miss Ann Olson, business. Jarvis Anderson, ag. teacher, and Arthur Prior, industrial arts teacher, are studying one of the many complicated new machines in the shop. Curtiss Johnson, Latin and history, and George Merritt, English and speech, are evidentally trying to decide which column contains the Roman gods and which the Greek gods.
