• • • WE DEDICATE We, the members of the 1959 graduating class, proudly dedicate our annual to Mr. Harold Pluimer. During 1955-1957, the students of Renville High School were privileged to have Mr. Pluimer serve as their principal. He proved himself a friend to all. giving encouragement and praise to those with whom he came in contact. After serving as principal in Renville, he became one of the ten traveling science teachers in the United States. This position was given by the Oak Ridge Institute of Nuclear Studies, and was co-sponsored by the Atomic Energy Commission and The National Science Foundation. During the summer of 1958 he lectured at the Brussels World Fair. After this experience he accepted the position of science consultant for the State Department of Education in Minnesota. We were very sorry to see him leave, but we all join in wishing him well in his new position. 4

Burge Hammond, High School Principal, and Susan Zaske, Grade School Principal, are busy scheduling the parent-teacher conferences. ADMINISTRATION BOARD OF EDUCATION Leo Derksen, Treasurer, Del Rhodes, Cyrus Knutson, Vincent Larkin, Directors; Arthur Binger, Clerk; and Deane Watson, Chairman, are busy planning projects for the coming year.
