Gordon Powers, agriculture teacher, and Robert Harrison, industrial arts teacher, have a friendly chat in between classes. Mis. Dorothy Kioto, speech teacher and librarian, shows a new book to Mrs. Gertrude McKusick, junior high English teacher, and Mis. Bertha Lang, Latin and senior high English teacher. Mrs. Lillian Knutson and Mrs. Shirley Honzay, fourth grade teachers, gaze through a new set of encyclopedias. Mrs. Donna Reek, fourth grade teacher, and Miss Jean Dotseth, sixth grade teacher, look through class records. These two replaced Mrs. Honzay and Mrs. Groninga who resigned at the end of '56. James Lysne, Eugene Bendix, and Glenn Boeck have just finished developing a pic- ture in our new darkroom. Mr. Lysne teaches algebra, higher algebra, biology and ninth grade science. Sixth Grade Teachers, Mrs. Helen Groninga and Miss Marian Tauber, smile at a humorous incident of the day. Which apple is bigger seems to be the question between Mrs. Eleanora Huselid and Mrs. Lola Graham, Fifth Grade Teach- ers.

Miss Susan Zaske and Mis. Rose Thompson, third grade teaches, admire a fall arrangement in the new display case of the grade section. Mrs. Hope Cavett and Cyrus Knutson give us a friendly smile as they admire a bulletin board. Mrs. Cavett teaches social science, English, and American history. Mr. Knutson, world history teacher and guidance counselor, resigned his position at the end of December. Mrs. Anitra Loe, kindergarten teacher, and Mrs. Mary Foster, grade one and special teacher, try out the new sink in the kindergarten room. Miss Ann Olson, who teaches business, Mrs. Lucille Doone home economics, and Mrs. Margaret Melhouse, phy ed, health, and junior high English, smile over a cup of coffee.
