T , t 3 t CARRY CALLEN GLENN CONNELLY JOHN MERRITT Vice-President President Secretary BOYS' CLUB The Renton High Boys' Club is an organization to which every boy in grades 9 through I2 belongs. Directed by Mr O'Brien and headed by Glenn Connelly, president, Garry Callen, vice president, and John Merritt, secretary, it functions by unifying the powers and abilities of all the boys for the purpose of rendering services to the school. Dad's Night, held in January, was outstanding in its talent show which was put on by students for the benefit of the fathers ol the senior high boys and girls. Warren Donnelly and Duane Parker acted as M.C.s. Refreshments were served in the gym. The laculty vs. Boys' Club basketball game, the boy of the year selection, assemblies once a month, a lavatory patrol, and an active part in Career Day are a few of the many activities and services sponsored by the Boys' Club. ff ,W WN it MARVEL BIEDERSTEDT ROBERTA BERTOZZI GLENDA TUTTLE Vice-President President Secretary GIRLS' CLUB With the supervision of Mrs. Mehus, the Girls' Club is one of the largest clubs of the school, for every girl of Renton High is a member. Meetings are held at various times during the year for the purpose of helping with problem which may come up at the time. Elections are held once a year in March and the cabinet and officers are installed ril. This year's officers are President, Roberta Bertozzi, Vice-President, Marvel Biederstedt, and Secretary, Genda ttle. This year the Girls' Club has sponsored the Kiwanis Halloween Dance, Tolo, o s' Tea, assemblies and also took part in career day. The Girls' Club Cabinet is made up of seven committees and their airme . hey are: Standards, Sharon Levar, Friendship Club, Barbara Nelson, Publicity, Pat Thomas, Bulletin Board, Ma ilyn illiken, Regulation, Mary Fullerton, Program, Sandra Langland, and P.T.A., Sharon Pellecchia. ILLAHEE The lllahee this year was put out by a staff of about 30 members, headed by Jackie Bartlett, senior editor, Nancy Nelson, iunior editor, and Miss Schlauch, adviser. The staff worked hard on getting stories, typing, helping with pic- ture taking, drawing, sports and putting the annual together. Many thanks go to Mr. Fox, Mr. Larson and Mr. Zemeck who helped us with picture taking, to Mr. Young who took all the pictures of the music groups, and to Miss Shaft and her girls who sold annuals during the drive. Thanks also go to Miss Anderson and her advertising staff who solicited the ads which provide some of the where- withal to put out the annual.
