I L L A H E E Grows Uzader Annual Staff The Annual Staff this year differs from previous years because it was divided into various groups which worked on lay-outs, typing, sports, activities, photography and art. Although most people do not realize it, this hard- working group begins in the fall by planning the book and selecting the cover and continues working the entire year until the final happy day when the. annuals are handed out. Highlighting this year's work was the Annual Drive held in October. The staff made booster buttons, put notices in the bulletin, presented a skit and sponsored a brightly decorated booth in the rnain hall to encourage the students to buy more annuals. Many changes have been made in the lllahee this year to make it a bigger and better annual than ever. Special thanks should be given to Mr, Fox, Mr. Larsen and Mr. Conley for their help in picture taking, the Photo Club for all the snaps, and Miss Heppell for her assistance with the art work. Senior Editor for l953-54 was Anita Delaurentig Junior Editor was Arlene Bressan. They and the entire staff were advised by Miss Gertrude Schlauch.
