Pat Crysel has her horoscope column and the editorial is written by Charlotte Miers. She gives us other articles when she is not en'gaged in deep thought on her new book The Weakness of Negative Thinking. In Section II, the first page everyone turns to is the Sports page. A new pro basketball team with Sandy Liljeholm as manager has been formed with Sal Butch Scattareggia, Captain. Other members of the team are: Bob All American Bissell, Uncle Buck McGovern, Joe the Lawyer Akins, and Charles Crummy Cook. W On the theatrical page we find that Miriam Sanderson made her debut at the Metropolitan Opera House. Ruth Anne Aleschus, and William Turnbull will play an organ duet with the Boston Sym- phony. C L A S S W I L L By JoYcE KRAUS AND WILLIAM SPENCE To Mr. MacFarland and Mr. Jordan, we wish to express our sin- cere appreciation for their patience and understanding during these past four years. To the Board of Education, we extend our thanks for the help which they have given to us. To the faculty and especially to our homeroom teachers we wish to give special thanks not only for the way they have guided us, as a class, but for the encouragement that they have shown to us as indi- viduals, preparing us for graduation and our lives thereafter. To the Juniors, Sophomores, and Freshmen, we hope that they may find as much enjoyment during their four years in high school as we, the Class of 1955, have in ours. To certain privileged individuals we feel it our duty to leave these personal gifts. To Mary Ellen Cox, Virginia Jackson wills her friendly smile. Nancy Smith leaves her ability to twirl to Margaret Cable. To June Michalski, Joyce Kraus wills her dark brown eyes. To Donna Chillmonik and Theresa Gallucci, Sara Mulyca wills her typing ability. Carolyn Boomhower leaves her punctuality to Margaret Cirilli. To Beverly Couser, Irene Massara wills her sophistication. Ann Wheeler leaves her pleasant personality to Loretta Swartz. To Anna Novak, Frances Cirilli leaves her interest in a certain school boy. To Patricia Fitzgerald, Arlene Monington wills her neatness. To Barbara Davis, Sandy Liljeholm wills her attractiveness. To Carol Van Dyke, Janet Reid leaves her incessant chatter. Joyce Simons wills her secretarial ability to Margery Brown. To Janet Butler, Charlotte Miers leaves her athletic ability. To Joyce Cooke, Sandra Bonlak wills her artistic ability. 30
