This Year ' s Jazz Band Rates Superior in Contest T he Jazz Band was organized in November. Their first performance for the year was at the BAE Awards Night. The Jazz Band also participated in the ISSMA Sponsored Jazz contest on March 7 where they received a superior rating. They also performed at Ideal Lady Night and the Fine Arts Festival Concert. Bomber Brigade Moving Up T his year’s Bomber Brigade moved to Class C marching competion. They showed their talent by making first ratings all during their marching contest season. The RCHS band worked hard during their marching season to make sure their season would be successful. Their hard work paid off when the Brigade took their marching show to The Class C State Mar- ching Contest in Indianapolis, where they placed eighth out of ten bands. Thanks to James Earnest for his great work with the Bomber Brigade, who lead the Bomber Brigade for another the great season. The Bomber Brigade also celebrated a great concert season that made the school proud.
