Text from Pages 1 - 160 of the 1978 volume:

The members of the CHAOS staff have attempted to present the student life and events of the 1977-1978 school year in this volume. Today the volume may serve only the purpose of remind- ing students of the past year. However, the CHAOS will serve its main purpose when at some time, perhaps after dreams have be- come realities, it presents to the reader memories of forgotten events. After the bonfire, the marching band performed on the football field. 14 15 Parade, Pep Session Makes H.C. Great This year was a special year for Homecoming. We held our Homecoming Parade on a school day. Floats and cars of all kinds made up the parade. Afterwards a pep session was held on the courthouse lawn. Wendy Buswell from Australia spent a year in Rensselaer attending our high school and living with several families. We all enjoyed Wendy ' s accent, but we were also interested in her different point of view about America. She participated in many activities. Her bright smile and bubbling personality will be remembered a long time at RCHS. 50 Scott Adamson Mary Allen Brad Alson Jonna Anderson Connie Arrasmith Pam Arrasmith Sarah Beaver Cindy Becker Brooks Beehler Kelly Blackball Mark Bohlinger Charlotte Bramble Deby Brandenburg Kerry Brown Becky Brusnahan Annie Bucholtz Dave Butler Lori Carmien Joe Cebulski Rick Chambers Class of 1981 52 Virginia Honegger, Secretary; Margaret Misch, Treasurer; Tom Kenny, President; Glen DeWees, Vice President.
