In the fall of '57 our class thespians presented the play Magnificent Obsession. The plays tells of a noted brain surgeon who is devoted to humanity because of a unique vitalizing principle. He drowns because of a society playboy. This playboy seeks to take the surgeon's place and proves that his principle is the true way of life. John Layden becomes angry at Patty Courtright while attempting to discuss future plans. ' . f '.'r .
