Libe. . . tudent ati?-HS 1' Q 5: 1. w.' pw, s' Q 'A Bringing books, laughter and the energy of young people full of life and enthusiasm, 440 of us enter the empty halls of R.H.S. daily. Filling the building with the sound of our voices, we exchange greetings and news as we rattle locker doors, juggle books and rush to reach class before that last bell rings. We tackle lessons with interest or at least the de- termination to see them through as we slowly and often painful ly add to our store of knowledge . But our efforts are repaid by that occasional thrill which comes from mastering something especially difficult. We fill the minutes between classes with as many words as possible and iam our days with activity as we plan club meetings and projects, sponsor dances, and prepare for a convention. R.H.S., with its classes and homework, and textbooks, organizations and humor, is the center of our lives. Here we devote most of our waking hours to everything from band and chorus, algebra and English to plays and pranks, sportsmanship and boosting the teams. . . lt's a great life!
