CANDLE LIGHT CANTATA MUSIC III MIRTH From the first note of Adeste Fidelis to the last sweet chord of Silent Night, our Christmas pro- gram was a tremendous success. Before a beautiful backdrop depic- ting an early 1900 Christmas, the chorus and band under the direc- tion of Mr. Mau presented an ex- citing program of Christmas mu- sic to a packed house. Special numbers by a flute quartet, and the Girl ' s Glee Club plus solos by Lula Mae Schultz, Chuck Tilton, and Sandra Lintner helped to maxe the evening a memorable one. TOP: Flute Quartet-Sue Kresler, Barbara Carroll, Anita Jensen, Dorothy Arnott. SIDE: Girls’ Glee Club. BOTTOM LEFT: Soloist-Chuck Tilton. BOTTOM RIGHT: RHS Band. 8

EFFICIENCY PLUS SAFETY FIRST (BUS DRIVERS): Frank Epler Sr. . Sidney Peters, Henry Stienke, Wesley Clemens, Bill Johnson. NOT PICTURED-Gene Armold, Wayne Erickson, Warren Gratner, Clifford Hall, Eldon Kelley, Charles Torbet, Russell Willets. Those of us who live in the country and come to school on the busses certainly appreciate our bus drivers. No matter how bad the weather, they faith- fully carry us to school in the morning and return us safely to our homes at night. SOUP’S Oil! (COOKS): Mrs. Earl Long, Mrs. Max Pullin, Mrs. Wm. Staddon, Mrs. Virgil Daniels, Mrs. Harry Gallagher. When we eat in the school cafeteria, we find home cooking just like mom ' s. Our cooks work hard to prepare one square meal a day for those of us who find it inconvenient to eat lunch at home, and we certainly owe our thanks to them. MAIYTEYAME MEN (JANITORS): Freeman Norris, Edward Mitch- ell. NOT PICTURED-Lloyd Linback, Earnest Richards. The entire student body values the work our four high school jan- itors do. They have a man- size job in keeping the school build- ings in tip-top repair and we sometimes wonder how they can be so pleasant about doing it. 10
