ONE FOOT IN HEAVES” During our junior year we began to display our theatric talents by presenting One Foot in Heaven, a three act play by the Reverend William Spence. We spent weeks of diligent rehearsing under the di- rection of Mr. Robert Pabst before we finally presented the play, which portrayed the trials and tribulations of a Methodist minister ' s family in a small Iowa town, to an approving audience which packed the gym. , Dean, Felder, Wood, Walter, Foster, James, Miller. Pimm, PRINCESSES, HD PARADES The judges had a difficult time choosing the best float in the parade. The D. C. E. ' s unique string of floats, pictured upper left, finally- won the first prize. Above is the Pep Club float and at the lower left is the F.H.A. float. Clouse Our homecoming was a memorable occasion. We ' ll never forget our lovely queen Joan Hansen, as she was crowned by Murray Key, vice-president of the senior class. This time under the capable directing of Mr. C. T. Keller we presented a comedy, Don ' t Take My Penny by Anne Coulter Martens. Again a packed house saw us present the second hit play of our high school careers, which was about a teen age girl who wanted to go to Hollywood and her boy friends attempts to dis- courage her.
