McCORMICK ' S CREEK? Harold Shuster. . . President Robert-Carter . . Secretary Gayla Fleming . . . Treasurer Rex Wuerthner . Vice-President THIS IS HIGH SCHOOL AS WE LIVED IT Four years ago 79 of us entered as wide-eyed strangers who anticipated, hoped, and even dared to dream a little. All the newness gleamed on our brightly scrubbed faces as we eagerly sought our classrooms. The following September we happily came back to school and tried to impress upon the new freshmen that we were part of the scenery. We started to work imme- diately by selling tickets to the intra- squad basketball game. The proceeds went for a new scoreboard. Boy, were we proud of that! A few months later we proudly displayed our sharp black class sweaters with an outstanding white 54 on the sleeve. We played host to the students New Years Eve with lots of music, confetti, food, and fun. Like all juniors, we eagerly waited for our class rings, and like all the classes before us, we were sure that we had selected the prettiest. (Well, didn ' t we?) We combined our acting talent and produced a smashing hit of a class play, Every- thing Happens To Us. It wasn ' t long after that until Prom Time and we began to display our artistic talent. We were all proud of our Wonder- land and the blue-eyed blonde, Alice, which created a perfect setting for our theme, Through The Looking Glass. The next fall we all came back as sophis- ticated seniors and began to publish the CHAOS. That was work that was carried on throughout the year, but we were kept extra busy in be- tween times. First was the Homecoming Dance, and then we all spruced up to have our individual class pictures taken. What fun it was to exchange pictures with our classmates. As soon as we started fitting robes for graduation, we realized that the end of our high school days was near and that we had spent a part of THE BEST YEARS OF OUR LIVES. 14 OUR SPONSORS- -MRS. HERSHMA-N, MR. DAVISSON
