“
For They ' re Jolly Good Fellows” SCHOOL BOARD Dr. E. R. Beaver, president of the school board, is pictured here in his capacity as RHS athletic physician. His patient is Jim Yeoman, senior on the varsity basketball team. Much credit goes to Dr. Beaver for helping plan the many improvements made in our school during recent years. May we express our heartfelt thanks for his interest in our welfare. As the newest member of the school board, Mr. Harold W. Campbell, proprie tor of Campbell’s Printing Company, capably fills the position of secretary. Mr. Campbell, for many years an RHS patron, is much interested in our school activities. Progress is the keynote of this civic-mind ed member of our board of education. Mr. John S. Jackson, mortician and one of our city’s leading citizens, serves efficiently as treasurer of the board. He has been a member of this advisory council for several years and has worked enthusiastically in the development of all projects which would make for a better educational system. ADMINISTRATION My Task Superintendent Dale E. Brock formulates plans for the 1952 Chaos with Patti Foster, editor of our annual. In February Mr. Dan A. Schafer, super- intendent of Marshall County Schools, came to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Mr. Brock, who became superintendent of Connersville schools. Best of luck to you, Mr. Brock, and a hearty welcome to you, Mr. Schafer. Mr. William J. Holt, our high school principal, discusses with Carolyn Hunt- ington, Sunshine president, details of the District Sunshine convention held at RHS in October. Mr. Holt has been in the Rensselaer school system for a number of years and is vitally interested in promoting the best in education for Rensselaer students. Mrs. Bonnie Selby, secretary to the superintendent, handles a call at the switch- board while Mrs. Dorothy Beatty, secretary to the principal, checks a report she has just typed. In December, following the resignation of Mrs. Beatty, Mrs. Beatrice Grewe became the new high school secretary. An Apple For The Teacher F A C u OLIVER J.
