Sll SHINE Dear lim, I Wish you would tell the girls back home what the S. S. lSuper Sun- shinersl are doing for the morale of our soldiers. They plan amateur hours, Christmas parties, dances, roll bandages, assist the Riley Hospital, and do many other valuable things. When our spirits are at their lowest ebb, along some one of them will come with ice cream or hot dogs to help us forget our aches and pains. They are a grand bunch and their leaders are Marjorie Iones, Ann Smith, Mary Io Hermanson, Ann Parkison, Helen Feldhaus and sponsor, Miss Kresler. Tell them to keep up the good Work. So long, 1 Ralph Ill-Y Dear Mom and Pop, This G. I. life is really O, K. as I have told you in my previous letters. The Hi-Y is the guiding light of our camp. Mr. Holt, the civilian in charge, is well acquainted with all the fellows here and sponsors their club. The club has four fine officers: President, Max Overton: Vice President, Ralph McColly tdetailed to special duty in the air forcelp Secretary, Kenneth Brooks: and Treasurer, Russell Strawbridge. Some of the many things they do for the morale here are the Hi-Y Ban- quet and Dance, interesting convocation programs, selling cokes at all home games, and printing the schedule cards of the basketball games. All in all, the Hi-Y Club is a great contributor to the success of R. H. S. Your son, Max
