Marjorie Phares, Vice Pres., Ralph Smith, Pres., Mr. Dnvisson, Miss Russell, Marie Mtxrtin, Ser, No longer were we considered the babies of the school. We had become so habituated to R. H. S. and so big that people began noticing us. We had literally fought our way up the first year. Under the tender guidance of our sponsores, Miss Russell and Mr. Davisson, and our officers we earned the right to be recognized as essentials in the school system. Now and then, of course, a few childish tactics crept out when we harassed the new freshmen in a friendly way. Soon, however, our energies were turned to more illus- trious pursuits. Football occupied the attention of such athletes as Green, Bahler, Putts, York, Battleday, Dawson, and Kryder. We sold victory badges to swell our treasury. Basketball suddenly loomed up as the chief diversion of the day. lt was delightful to watch Hancock, Putts, Cleaveland, Over- ton, Srnith, Green, Bahler, Gates, and McColly uphold the honor of the Baby Bombers. They symbolized our motto Possunt Qui Putant Posse.

Doris Nuss, Sec., Daryl Lintner, Vice Pres., Mr. Ritchie, Ray Hershmanr Pres., Miss Lawrence lt was the tirst day of our high school careers. One ot the things we anticipated hap- pened. Many ot our boys discovered what marvelous hikers they were. At the inter- cession ot our loyal Mr. l-loshaw, the harassing was soon brought under control. The class ot l945 at once belonged heart and soul to the high school. We elected our first class officers and with Miss Lawrence and Mr. Ritchie, our sponsors, we began our tasks of winning recognition. Phil Robinson, Daryl Lintner, Ramon Sayler, represented our class on the gridiron. Ramon Sayler, Daryl Lintner, lunior Lownian, Edward Hudson, Edward Hartman, Don- ald Yeoman, Iames Arnsler and Dwayne Gasnell were Baby Bombers .
