MR. HUGH IDAVISSON teaches history and mathematics. Mathe- matics is taught to develop an appreciation ot' its contributions to science and inventions. O MISS MARGARET MYER teaches English to the underclassmen. Through her tireless efforts they are enabled to use the proper grammatical forms naturally and acquire a taste for reading the best literature. Miss Myer is sponsor of the Masque and Wig organization and directs annually 6 the senior play. O MR. LEROY SHRODE directs our chemistry department. Chemistry is offered to the juniors and seniors. The pupils in the laboratory are able to experience and thus to see some of the marvels of science. He also teaches geometry. O MR. WILLIAM JARDINE instructs thc pupils of our school in his- tory, Civics and economics.
