BASKETBALL Starting the season with five returning veterans from 1942, Iim Aiken, Harold Carter, lim Andrews, Ernie Hall, and Dan Vidovich, Coach Her Foster's A squad had high hopes. The lettermen were backed up by Gaylon Allred, Camie Hall, Frank Tacchino, Norman Olsen, Bob Hildebrand, Bruce Hill, and Bill Stone . . . Competing in the Western Zone Tournament, the Reno Huskies took first honors, leaving first the Stewart team, then Virginia City, next Fallon, and finally the Carson City team behind them.
