We settled ourselves on the plane and were on our way again. A stewardess came down the aisle with three cups of coffee. She stops says, Mind if I join you? This attractive stewardess was .Iudy our coffee and talked over old times. Iudy had been working for Pan for three years. She also showed us her lovely diamond ring which meant be leaving her job soon for matrimony. When we got to Oregon we decided to go on a travelers tour. Our bus Richard Everhart whom I would say was the most courteous reliable driver in the U. Our tour was to take us through the millionaire part of the city. We went by many beautiful homes, but the one which caught my eye, I later learned belonged to Brandow. We had tea with Ronnie, who is the same old cheerful Ron that he always was. Ronnie showed us his 18 room home and his back yard lake. After visiting with Ronnie we went back to the city where we took in a basketball game. , ' The professional game began as all games do , by introducing the captains. The captain of one of those teams was our own Iohn Ehrhardt. Iohn played a very good game sinking 38 points. We talked to John after the game and then went back to our hotel. W The next morning I picked up the paper and learned that the governor of New York, Raymond Hargis, was to be here at 8:15. I couldn't resist calling Raymond, who came to see us. Raymond and I had a very pleasant visit and then my husband and I left the hotel and went to the National Stock Car Speed Way. After watching the most ex- citing, thrilling race I have seen. I was stunned to find the heroic winner was Ierry Bloss. Ierry won S100,000 and a beautiful gold cup. V Ierry told us he wanted us to' meet the attending physician of the race track. l The physician was Bob Shoaf. ' .He told us he had gone on to college and got his Ph. D. He also introduced us to his wife, who is a registered nurse. ' We left Bob and Jerry and went on to California to see Andrea McCardle, whom I had been corresponding with since our graduation in 59. Andy told us she had continued her education, majoring in psychology and had just recently established her own office. We left California the next morning homeward bound. As I sit on the plane drooling over my trip as I suddenly realized that I had met and talked with all my graduating class. Thinking about my classmates and our wonderful years at Renick High, I dozed off into a land of dreams.
