Class Prophecy a minute I would like to tell you about my exciting trip from coast to United States eight years after graduating from Renick High School. , who is President of the Miami State Bank, and I, oh yes, I am the Patsy Lewis, left our Miami Beach home and drove to Key West to catch Before arriving at the airport we stopped to have a thorough check of Whom should we find there but, yes, you guessed, JOHN COLLEY who is head at an exceptionally nice station. He had just been given an award as the of the year. We talked of old times and John told me I should visit the across the street. As I am a curious newspaper woman, I wondered why wanted me to go over to the nursery. I went to the nursery, walked in and there saw a very familiar face, could it be, why yes, it is Iulia Bradley. After chatting a minute, she calls her assistant. Did she say Sharon, oh, no, this is too good to be true, it is Sharon Truesdell. She and Iudy are both married with one child each and are now running a nursery. r While Iohn finished checking the car my husband and I decided to go to the theater. As we started to go in, the billboard caught my eye and I stopped to read it. Much to my surprise it read, Starring the Rock and Roll Singer of all times, Bill Pearson, better known to us as Doc, After a very entertaining show we went backstage. By pushing through the line of fans we finally got to talk to Doc for about 15 minutes between performances. From the look of things there I would say Doc was doing very well and was becoming very successful. We went back to the station, told Iohn of my surprise, which was the reason he sent me to the nursery. We bid Iohn adieu, got in the car and headed for the air- port. My husband and I flew to Missouri where we went by taxi to my parents home for the week end. I was astonished to find Prank Starks the taxi driver. He told us he was very happily married and had three children. Frank took us to the airport where we found Donnie Bailey working at the travel-- ers bureau. He told us he was going into construction business for himself in two months. We wished him luck and were once again in the air with Wyoming as our des- tination. I Upon arrival we went directly to our hotel, walked into the lobby and there stood none other than Ronnie Brooks looking very sharp in a ten gallon hat, cowboy boots and all. He told us that he owned a 3 thousand acre ranch in Texas and was in Wyoming buying more cattle to add to his herd of 2 thousand. . The next morning I went out shopping before flying on to Oregon. I was wandering around town when I saw a dress shop sign which said Dresses Specially Tailored. I went in and there I saw Ianet Winn. She had graduated from college and now is a leading dress designer.' She told me she was getting married in two days and showed me her gorgeous bridal gown which she had fashioned herself. I regretted not being able to stay for her wedding but as my husband had some business to take care of, we had to catch the plane at 8 P. M.

We settled ourselves on the plane and were on our way again. A stewardess came down the aisle with three cups of coffee. She stops says, Mind if I join you? This attractive stewardess was .Iudy our coffee and talked over old times. Iudy had been working for Pan for three years. She also showed us her lovely diamond ring which meant be leaving her job soon for matrimony. When we got to Oregon we decided to go on a travelers tour. Our bus Richard Everhart whom I would say was the most courteous reliable driver in the U. Our tour was to take us through the millionaire part of the city. We went by many beautiful homes, but the one which caught my eye, I later learned belonged to Brandow. We had tea with Ronnie, who is the same old cheerful Ron that he always was. Ronnie showed us his 18 room home and his back yard lake. After visiting with Ronnie we went back to the city where we took in a basketball game. , ' The professional game began as all games do , by introducing the captains. The captain of one of those teams was our own Iohn Ehrhardt. Iohn played a very good game sinking 38 points. We talked to John after the game and then went back to our hotel. W The next morning I picked up the paper and learned that the governor of New York, Raymond Hargis, was to be here at 8:15. I couldn't resist calling Raymond, who came to see us. Raymond and I had a very pleasant visit and then my husband and I left the hotel and went to the National Stock Car Speed Way. After watching the most ex- citing, thrilling race I have seen. I was stunned to find the heroic winner was Ierry Bloss. Ierry won S100,000 and a beautiful gold cup. V Ierry told us he wanted us to' meet the attending physician of the race track. l The physician was Bob Shoaf. ' .He told us he had gone on to college and got his Ph. D. He also introduced us to his wife, who is a registered nurse. ' We left Bob and Jerry and went on to California to see Andrea McCardle, whom I had been corresponding with since our graduation in 59. Andy told us she had continued her education, majoring in psychology and had just recently established her own office. We left California the next morning homeward bound. As I sit on the plane drooling over my trip as I suddenly realized that I had met and talked with all my graduating class. Thinking about my classmates and our wonderful years at Renick High, I dozed off into a land of dreams.
