Initiate Gtudent Center 4k The Student Center was ready for occupancy on May 24, 1974, so the Board of Trustees celebrated by using the new dining facility for the Annual Dinner Meeting of the college staff. This meeting provides an opportunity for faculty, staff, administrators, and board members to share ideas and to know each other socially. Since, in previous years, it has been necessary to hold the meeting off campus, this year provided a first in two respects — first use of the Student Center, and the first Annual Dinner on campus. 22
