PUBLIC RELATIONS IMPORTAN T The Seniors are to be commended on their theme for the 1957-58 Yearbook. I feel sure that most of us will be surprised by the number of articles and featureswhich have appeared in local newspapers during the current year relative to the Remsen Central School. The importance to the schools of es- tablishing and maintaining good public re- lations cannot be overemphasized. There must be a constant flow of material from school to home pointing out and explaining the varied activities, purposes and the values of the educational efforts. The child may be served only through the understanding and codperation between parent and school. This Yearbook while serving as another important facet in maintaining good public relations will also bring many pleasant memories to our departing seniors.
