Six hilltoppers won divisional honors in the annual Industrial Arts show sponsored by the Foreman's club. The winners, standing left to right, are Bob Wessel, Mickey Owen, Jack Kissinger and Jim Boyd. David Huff is seated. Bob and Jim took first in their divisions of drawing and wood, respectively. Reuben Williams was not present for the picture. Recognized for their outstanding service to Reitz, Louise Bellman received one of the annual P.T.A. service awards, Fred Walton won the Student Council Citizenship award and David Riggs qualified for the other P.T.A. honor. 26 Mell Welborn was awarded the Mary Louise Mueller Social Studies award for l955.

Standing in front of the school are members of the Quill and Scroll, national honor society for journalists. Left to right in the first row are the officers, Billie Jo Myers, treasurer, Betty Nordhausen, secretary, Ruth Helfrich, vice-president, and Delores Bergdolt, president. The second row is composed of Carolyn Everly, Gayle Slifer, Judy Trenton, Margaret Marynell and Carol Yokel, Mary Klipsch, Sue Kirkpatrick, Joyce Hartford, Nancy Heinlin, Ruth Kluge and Diane Kirkpatrick are in the third row. Standing in the last row are Katy Dannenberg, Nancy Sander, Donna Brooks, Ottie Droste, Nanna Hart and Paula Sherrod. All the world's a stage for these Thespians as they posed for the birdie. In the first row from left to right were Charles Myers, Denis Brown, Billie Myers and Leo Wentzel, officers of the Reitz organization. ln the second row were Ramona Clark, Louise Bellman, Carol Hudson, Susie Scraper and Margaret Marynell, Mary Klipsch, Clara Cooper, June Winternheimer, Nancy Heinlin, Nanna Hart and Carol Yokel were in the third row. ln the fourth row were Carla Thornton, Don Doxey, Jere Richardson, Rosalee Young and Suzanne Thompson. Charles Epperson, David Riggs, Bill Felker, Jane Ann Hermann and Lowell Farrar were in the last row. Thirteen active members of the National Art Honor society are Linda Bloemen, Ericka Gresse, Ruth Grunow and Donna Fleming in the first row. Standing in the second row are Judy Deer, Frankie Costello, Rosie Young and Darlene Dick. Joyce Hittner, Marlene Weber, Eddie Lipking, Charles Freels and Mike Barker are in the last row.

W. pf Peering over the fence, these award winners wondered what it was all about. Carla Thornton, to the left, won the National Secretaries Association Essay award. Nancy Heinlin placed first and Billie Jo Myers second in the National Office Management Secretarial award search. Carol Brown was the winner of the two honors, the Daughters cf the American Revolution county award and the Women's Rotary Club award. First through third winners in the National Association of Cost Accountants were Marlene Weber, Harold Mann and Byron Fischer. Susan Kirkpatrick, to the left, and Phyllis Brothers, in the foreground, hit the books and won silver and bronze medals in the State English achievement test, respectively. Susan also tied for second place in the Evansville Manufacturers and Employers Association contest. ln the picture at the right, Don Hatfield lin the carl and Walter Roth were first and second place winners in the Evansville Road-e-o contest.
