Joan Howe and Lois Donham tied for first place in the Ameri- can Association of University Women's Poetry contest. Anne Mandeville received third place, Mary Schoonrnaker received the first place gold medal in the state English contest and Lois received a third place bronze medal, Thespians, who were honored for their work in drarnatics, were, left to right: Carol Grimm, Billie .lo Myers, Charlie Myers, Jim Schaffer, David BeMiller, David Riggs, Jim Paul, Leo Wentzel and Dennis Brown.
