'if-I GIRLS' TRIPLE TRIO Ll First Row: Donna Beier, Patricia Schildroth, Carol Cramer. Second Row: Charlotte Frier,Marjorie Martens, Marlys Robinson . Third Row: Phyllis Ohrt, Myrna Morrow, Ruth Ann Weiss. The girls' glee club and mixed chorus were organized at the be- ginning of the school year. Boys' glee club was not completely or- ganized until after the football season. The officers for girls' glee club were: President---Janice Paulsen, Secretary--Carol Cramer, Librarians---Donna Beier, Phyllis Ohrt e The three small vocal music groups this year were the boys' quartet the girls' triple trio, and girls' trio. The vocal and instrumental groups attended a Grundy County Music Clinic at Grundy Center on March 3. The girls' triple trio was selected as one of the groups to sing at the public concert that evening. At the school music night on March 6 the girls' glee club sang 'Cheery Ripe' and 'What Cana Poor Maiden Do?'g the boys' glee club, 'Winter Song' and 'Stouthearted Men'g mixe chorus, 'Now the Day is Over' and 'Sleep Baby,Sleep'g boys' quartet, 'Sing a While Longer' and MacNamara's Band'g and the girls' triple trio sang 'Bourree' and 'Beautiful Savior.' On Saturday, April 7, Heinbeck High School was host to one of the sub-state music contests.
