Even though they were defeated in several games,they gained much valuable experience by playing some of the best teams in the state. Four of last year's first six players, Rozella Blakely, Shirley Barfels, Frances and Francine Billerbedg were the nucleus of this year's team. The team was coached by Mr. Manningg Mrs. Manning was selected as chaperone, and Irma Neil was student manager. The girls made two over-night trips this yearg on the first trip they played Rockford and Meservey, and Winterset was their opponent for the second trip. During the last week in January Reinbeck High School was host to the girls' sectional basketball tournament in which twelve teams participated. Reinbeck Ramblers were victorious in the first two games of the tournament and then lost to Clutier in the final game.
