This is the first year Leinbeck hiqn School has had an all girls' organized Pep Club. The club consisted of fifty-four members. Lois Gibson was elected President, Ramona Halupniok as Vice-President, Mar- lene Hamann as Secretary, and the sponsors were Mrs. Grant and Miss Williams. when girls' identical uni- ' forms,which consisted of black hats,orange blouses,black jump- ers, orange anklets and orange and block mittens,were worn to all the games. After the home basketball game with Teachers College H.S. the Pep Club sponsored a dance for the students of the two schools. For the football season the six cheerleaders were Barbara Neewes,Luella Blskely,Lois Gib son, Marlene Hamann, Marlene Willer, and Darlene Harms.
